I obtained my eyelash extension technician certification 2 years ago with Misencils. Similarly to my position as a freelance makeup artist, I must communicate effectively with numerous clients to organize appointments and negotiate prices, as well as update my social media networks to keep my audience engaged, develop brand awareness and showcase my makeup artistry (Instagram and Facebook pages: MakeupbyJacquiPogue).

I create brand awareness for Amika haircare products. This entails training large groups of 30 representatives and salon owners on products and promotions in Montreal and Quebec City. I meet with salon owners in these regions to educate them about our products, in order to increase sales. I train sales associates on effective sales techniques and product ingredients/functions. I offer sale support at Star Bedard trade shows in Montreal and Quebec City, and travel internationally to work with the American Amika sales team. At the Premier Orlando Trade show in 2014, which is the largest international beauty trade show in the US and the 2015 American Beauty Show in Chicago, I communicated effectively with clients to create brand awareness and increase sales.

I job entailed consulting with clients to recommend makeup, skincare and haircare products best tailored to their needs. When I was first hired, the store was in risk of loosing Lancome as one of their brands, due to very poor sales. However, having previous experience working for Lancome and a cosmetic sales background, I was able to increase their sales by 53%. I was in charge of placing orders for products and shipping discontinued and expired products back to the manufacturer.

My strong interpersonal skills allowed me to communicate effectively with clients to advise them on the best skincare and makeup products for their unique needs. I achieved personal and team sales goals in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
