Typically, the kinds of companies I work with are ambitious businesses across Cheshire, Staffordshire, and Manchester, much like yours, who want to grow and have vacancies. Despite redundancies and local job losses, they say finding those A players they need are like finding needles in a haystack.The result? A huge cost to their business in internal manpower time spent drafting job adverts, posting to job boards, monitoring responses from potential candidates, CV sifting then back and forth emails and phone calls to schedule interviews. Then comes a reduction in productivity as department heads take hours out of the business to conduct first and second interviews – if their candidates turn up of course.The outcome?Frustrated hiring managers, HR managers, and business owners. The whole process has cost them a considerable chunk of cash and sometimes the result is a poor hire who lasts a matter of weeks before job-hopping to another opportunity. Another waste of time.Q.
