o Supporting and Assisting Sales Manager to monitor merchandise and sales performance in order to meet and exceed sales budget.
o Assisting Sales Manager in coaching and building up team members - in line with store objectives and policies - Five Star Service and WHS policies and procedures and Point of Sales procedures.
o Assisting Sales Manager in minimising stock loss by monitoring and reviewing the following reports – KPI Reports, Store Stock Report, Daily Sales by Sales Manager Report and iConnect Brand and Best Sellers Report and Basic Stock Report.
o Assisting Sales Manager in preparing reports for Departmental Heads (e.g. COO, Buyers and Regional Managers) visits.
o Ensure up keeping of department area and merchandise presentation standards are consistent with David Jones Limited Visual Merchandising Standards. o Minimise risk of loss and theft by applying routine store security, cash handling and Point of Sale transactions. o Ensure compliance with David Jones’s policies, procedures and processes (e.g. stock loss, work orders, transfer of stock and shrinkage) o Constantly maintain up to date knowledge of all products in store.
o Coordinate with logistics department to ensure stock is delivered on time and in good condition to customers.
