Ever since I was a young girl, I have had a strong love for animals. Through caring for numerous creatures, volunteering at facilities that work closely with animals, and studying the local wildlife of various locations around the world, I have developed an even greater passion for nature and the creatures that live freely in it. As I grew older, I became more intrigued by animals and was hungry to learn more about them. I found myself basing most of my school assignments around animals at any opportunity that presented itself. It was when I was working on a project in one of my Environmental Science classes that I learned about the repercussions of habitat destruction and some of the real dangers that wildlife face.In order to protect animals, we must be willing to protect the Earth as well, which I made the decision to align myself with a career at an organization like Engie Impact. In working for this company I have peace of mind knowing that the job I am doing not only benefits myself, my company, and all who subscribe to our services, but also the longevity of the planet as a whole by reducing our subscribers carbon footprint on the environment.While I love my job, I have chosen to enroll with Unity College to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in both Animal Health & Behaviour as well as Wildlife Conservation. In obtaining this education, my ultimate goal is to travel around the world studying wildlife of all regions & climates and create a wildlife educational program to establish a consciousness around native species and the conservation practices needed to help them not only survive, but thrive.
