I use a wide range of data sources, ranging from large-scale multi-level data from population-based surveys or vital records to smaller-scale data from community-based studies that focus on rigorous measurement.My research has been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals (e.g. JAMA Network Open, American Journal of Public Health) and featured in media and policy documents.My work has been funded by multiple grants from the National Institutes of Health, including career development awards at the pre and post-doctoral levels and independent research awards to fund high-impact primary and secondary data collection efforts in the fields of social epidemiology and cognitive aging.
