It was founded by an inspired and committed core team in 2015 to share expertise and knowledge in working with stories in organizations.The BEYOND STORYTELLING NETWORK is active in many fields – from initiating and facilitating change in organizations to the development of brands and marketing campaigns to digital learning and knowledge management. We are marketeers, facilitators, story wizards, event specialists, writers and change catalysts.The purpose of the BEYOND STORYTELLING NETWORK is to advance the theory and practice of working with stories in organizations, communities and with individuals and serves as a contact point for organizations, communities and individuals that are interested in addressing their business challenge through narrative practices and approaches.The BEYOND STORYTELLING NETWORK organizes events, trainings, workshops and seminars and serves as a hub for consulting services and projects.

Die gewohnten Bilder zur Klimakrise sind mittlerweile kontraproduktiv (“Eisbären”), zu vielen anderen Krisen (Demokratie, Biodiversität, Bodenversiegelung) haben wir entweder keine Bilder oder nur unvollkommene. Die Konsequenz: Es gelingt noch immer kaum, Menschen und vor allem auch die Politik im globalen Norden zum notwendigen beherzten Handeln zu aktivieren.Welche Metaphern und Frames können wir künftig nutzen, um über die Herausforderungen unserer Zeit zu reden? Was wären radikale Veränderungen des Erzählrahmens? Was würden wir gewinnen, wenn wir aufhörten, über das Klima zu reden? Und über was könnten wir stattdessen reden?Das sind Fragen, die uns beschäftigen. Unsere Antworten suchen und finden wir in unterschiedlichen Bereichen und versuchen sie in schöne Formen zu bringen: für Medienschaffenden und Forschungsinstitute, für NGO’s und Aktivist:innen, für Politik und Gesellschaft.
