I am responsible for all engineering and maintenance planning activities on Bosveld Phosphates

I am currently responsible for all water related activities and all projects generated.

At June 2011 the old Sasol Nitro plant was bought by Bosveld Phosphates. I was then recruited back to Phalaborwa to assist in the Planning, Budgeting and Commissioning the Factory. I was responsible to start-up the plants. Phosphoric acid plant , Sulfuric acid plant and support plants.I then began to assist in the Planning, commissioning of the new MAP (Mono Ammonia Phosphate) plant. I was then given the responsibility for the Planning, budgeting and commissioning the New Bosveld Gypsum facility as Operation manager Bosveld gypsum. After the Commissioning of the plant, i was appointed as Production Manager Bosveld phosphates, responsible for the entire factory production outputs. My daily routine is the planning of production outputs, Reaching production targets, planning of raw materials, month-end reporting.

I joined Foskor Richards-bay as a Mechanical technician. I was responsible to optimize the phosphoric acid production, due to my knowledge at Sasol nitro. I planned, budgeted and executed the total refurbishment of the 2 x 30 Bird Tilting Pan Filter. This was a great success. I was also responsible for the refurbished 2 of the 3 horizontal belt filters.I also did root cause analysis and daily production reporting.

I started at Fedmis (Sasol Nitro) in 1994 as a Fitter and turner on the Bosveld plant.i was then responsible for maintaining the prayon filter and the belt filter. i then joint the maintenance planning team as a planner where i was responsible for all Day to Day maintenance planning activities. Job planning, resource planning, equipment planning. I was the Maintainer On-key (EMS) system administrator. I then moved to the phosphoric as plant as mechanical foreman where i was responsible for all mechanical activities in the plant. I then was promoted as Mechanical Technician. i was responsible for factory downtime recording and analysis, month end reporting, equipment availability, equipment reliability, HAZOPS, Root cause analysis.I then moved to join Foskor Richards-bay in 2009
