ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:MAINTAIN:● Mobile Equipment and Safety Devices on Mobile Equipment-, Quarry and PlantMANAGE:● Ensure Mobile Equipment (Front-end Loaders, Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Road Grader, Forklifts, Bobcats and Road Sweepers) is available for use.● Ensure equipment complies with Mine, Health and Safety.● Manage Lifting Equipment, Tools, Artisans (Diesel Mechanic, Boilermaker, Assistants, handyman and contractors) working in my area of responsibility. ● Control all admin tasks, source, and order parts on JDE and Maximo, Manage overtime, labor utilization and cost on JDE/MAXIMO (Maintenance system) daily.● Manage weekly preventive and all other maintenance tasks. ● Plan and organize activities for the workshop. ● Manage and schedule PTO’s (Planned Task Observations) and do over inspections on certain tasks. ● Attending to breakdowns immediately to analyze fault and parts required for solutions● Commission new installations according to OEM specs and with OEM.● Ensure good customer/supplier relationships to ensure quick and reliable service and support.● Ensure maintenance work is carried out in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. ● Maintain good safety performance in the workplace.● Ensure the workshop is safe for the team to work in.● Execute any reasonable instructions from Engineering-and Quarry managers.● Prepare daily reports.● Source and order parts (Best parts & best prices) for Mobile Equipment. ● Follow-up on orders to ensure on-time delivery. ● Provide daily feedback to managers regarding scheduled and planned work.● Daily meetings with subordinates to ensure tasks is understood and carried out to the point.

ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:MAINTAIN:● Mechanical Equipment (Vibrating Feeders, Vibrating Screens, Conveyor belts, Screw conveyors, Mills, Elevators, Truck spotting winches, Coal stracker, Coal Tippler, Coal Reclaimer, Shuttle Conveyors, Loading nozzles, Hydrator, Packer, Rail maintenance and Safety Devices) in the Rawstone-, Despatch and Outloading Plants.MANAGE:● Rail Transport Section ● Despatch Mechanical Workshop - Coal Plant - Pumps● Manage Lifting Equipment, Tools, Artisans (Fitters, Boilermakers, Assistants, handyman and contractors working in my area of responsibility. ● Control all admin tasks, source, and order parts on JDE and Maximo, Manage cost on JDE/MAXIMO monthly.● Manage weekly preventive and all other maintenance tasks. ● Plan and carry out shutdowns and plant improvements. ● Manage PTO’s (Planned Task Observations) and do over inspections on certain tasks. ● Assist in Audits and weekly plant inspections. ● Write JSA’s (Job Safety Analysis) on tasks carried out by artisans to make sure all work is done safely and according to standards and procedures. ● Attending to breakdowns to analyze fault and parts required.● Follow-up on orders to ensure on-time delivery. ● Commission new installations according to OEM specs and with OEM.● Strong know-how and technical understanding of mechanical equipment.● Good knowledge and sound judgement on problem solving.● Execute any reasonable instructions from Engineering-and Quarry managers.
