Issuer Regulation DivisionResponsible for the review and approval of new listings on the numerous boards of the JSE such as the Main Board, the AltX, the Venture Capital Market, the Development Capital Market, and the BEE segment.Examination and reviewal of numerous complex corporate actions for listed companies to ensure compliance with the JSE Listings Requirements and provide specialist input on different corrective actions.Provide rulings/interpretations of Listing Requirements to sponsors and listed companies as a member of the Issuer Regulation Technical Committee.Dealing with various matters relating to the (i) interpretation and applicability of the Listing Requirements and (ii) amendments to the Listings Requirements.Administer and maintenance of all sponsors units on the JSE to ensure all sponsors units are qualified in terms of the Listing Requirements and can provide adequate advice to listed companies.Monitor and review announcements published by listed companies on the Stock Exchange News Service.Administer all Competent Persons Reports to JSE Readers Panel and represent the JSE at the SAMREC/SAMVAL Committee meetings to provide advice on the JSE Listings Requirements.
