Overnight there are about 30 boats at Lan Ha Bay, rather than 300 in Ha Long Bay, so I highly recommend it for beautiful scenery without the crowds.”New York City is her favourite destination because “there’s always something new to explore and the vibrancy of the city is unparalleled”. “While in NYC, take a helicopter ride over the city - it’s a not to be missed experience and a real exciting rush. The views are amazing and you get great glimpses of the Statue of Liberty and a real perspective of the city and surrounds.”Jacqui also has two hot tips for Venice, in Italy. “Stay right on the canals if you can. It’s really lovely to relax out on your deck or balcony and watch the world go by your doorstep. Also, catch a water taxi from the airport right to your door. It is more expensive but it’s so convenient, with the added bonus of arriving in style and getting a canal tour en route.”And if you’re considering travelling with teenagers, Jacqui is the perfect person to speak to. “I loved travelling with my husband and two teenagers on a round the world trip last year.
