"When you change the way you look at things, you change the things you look at."Psychology has always been my core interest, born out of a singular fascination with human behaviour. Following my first degree’s graduation, I worked mainly in health contexts, but I have always been more interested in understanding society’s constructions of normality in human behaviour, their expectations and reactions to norms and impositions, rather than the psychopathological behaviour. Working in training has allowed me to explore that path, to give people personal and helpful insight of their strengths, rather than their weaknesses, to facilitate their will to change and feel better or get better at what they do. Working as a Learning and Development Consultant for the last 4 years allowed me to develop my creativity and analytical thinking on how to present a client solutions that can fulfil the gap of training in the performance of their workers and develop their talent. In order to fit those solutions to each individual’s reality and ensure the successful completion of the projects it was especially important my ability to empathize, communicate and create meaningful relationships from my background as a psychologist and my 10 years’ experience as a trainer, with 2000 training hours to more than 20000 trainees.I am dedicated and passionate about what I do. I am strongly self-motivated and have an enormous resistance to frustration. I am genuinely curious about everything that is innovative, I am very proactive, searching solutions where others see problems, and also what can be considered a ‘healthy obsessive’ in organisational skills. On my free time I love cake design, organizing events and traveling.What drives me is the feeling that I can make a difference. And not in an overambitious and unrealistic way, but in the sense of changing one person's life instead of the whole world, either if it's a depressed teenager that lost the will to live or a 60 year old manager that was only taught to lead by imposing his decisions. Being able to change their perspectives about what they were feeling or how they were doing their job might not have been my major accomplishments, but they were certainly the ones I am most proud of.
