Every day, I interact and help people from all races and ages between my academic and professional career. I am not only a second-year Management undergraduate student at Rutgers University - Newark, but a student accounting worker, Certified Home Health Aide, and child care assistant. As a student worker in my school's accounting office, I assist student organizations with their financial needs but also bridge the gap between students and vendor in a financial sense. Being a CHHA and child care assistant are similar to one another because I help those who are either too young or old to help themselves while displaying compassion and sensitivity. I've learned a great deal about people and life from all of my jobs, and from school as well. With all that already do, I volunteer my free time as the Director of Events for the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) organization Newark chapter on campus. As the Director of Events, I coordinate events on campus to help recreate the image of what HR truly is by removing the mundane and harsh view many people have. I am able to offer more experience and professionalism to a company with my personal, professional, and extra circularity work.
