Responsible for teaching, testing and grading Organic Chemistry I (CHEM 241) Organic Chemistry II (CHEM 242) and Organic Chemistry III (CHEM 243).

Small molecule library design, sourcing/synthesis of relevant compounds and preparation of supporting material for commercial targeted libraries (e.g. Autophagy Modulators; Wnt Modulators; FDA Approved Drugs).Carry out custom synthesis of bioactive molecules for customers including evaluation of feasibility of request, design of synthetic pathway, pricing and management of project.Product Manager responsible for selection, sourcing and synthesis of new bioactive small molecule products including preparation of supporting materials.Design of small molecule immunogens in collaboration with Assay Designs to develop new commercial immunoassays.Supervision of chemistry technicians including prioritization of projects and oversight of synthetic work.Provide customer and technical support.

Synthesis of a wide range of bioactive compounds for company catalog business including but not limited to: lipid phosphates, sphingoid bases, "glitazones", small peptides, platelet activating factors, diacylglycerols, heterocycles and retinoids.Modified syntheses for production scale quantities when required.Reviewed chemical literature for molecules relevant to company business.Responsible for evaluation, selection, installation, use and maintenance of newly acquired on-site NMR facility.
