As a behavioral health technician at Golden Steps ABA, I apply the principles of applied behavior analysis to help children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities improve their social, communication, and life skills. I have been working in this role for 10 months, after gaining experience as a behavioral health technician at People First Therapeutic Solutions and Kaleidoscope Behavior Analysis & Therapy. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Austin Peay State University, and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in applied behavior analysis from Capella University, which I expect to complete in 2025. My core competencies include implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting and analyzing data, providing feedback and coaching, and collaborating with families and other professionals. My mission is to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the individuals I serve, and to contribute to the advancement of the field of behavior analysis.
