Experienced in open cut Magnetite Iron Ore mining operations and surface extraction, with the completion of RII30120 Cert III in Surface Extraction Operations. • Adherence to all onsite safety procedures, including JHA, hazard reporting, positive radio communication and a strong commitment to duty of care. Safe operation of heavy machinery, specifically Haul Trucks - CAT 789,785, 777, Watercart, D65 Drill Rig.• A strong collaborator, committed to achieving production targets as well as creating a positive work force community, camaraderie, and culture.• April 2023 – May 2024, Relief Driller: Specifically operating Epiroc SmartRoc D65 Drill Rigs for the purpose of blast hole drilling. During this time, I gained experience and knowledge of blast hole drilling and drill and blast techniques, as well as the safe operation and upkeep of the drill rig. During operation I always maintained situational awareness on the drill pattern, and thoroughly monitored any change in ground conditions to achieve quality chargeable holes to ensure a successful blast.• September 2023 – May 2024, Relief Mine Controller: During my experience as a Relief Mine Controller, I gained experience in monitoring the day-to-day mining operations by optimising the haul truck fleet to deliver the production schedule in accordance with the mine plan with the use of the CAT Minestar system. I would provide up to date relevant information and support to the haul fleet whilst ensuring safety standards, regulations, and ensuring best practice mining criteria are met and maintained. At all times I stayed committed to duty of care of our operators, with the assistance of the Hexagon MineProtect collision avoidance system (CAS) and Operator Alertness System (OAS), addressing operator fatigue, and significantly improving safety measures at Savage River, further enhancing operator well-being and productivity at the Mine.
