- NCD Synergies (Harvard Medical School Department of Global Health and Social Medicine and Partners in Health)- Conduct a scoping review on logistics and financing of delivery models for anticoagulants in sub-Saharan Africa to identify gaps in evidence and areas for further inquiry, and guide a research program to develop recommendations for treatment goal setting- Collaborate and communicate with physicians, public health experts, and researchers to determine best research methods and project details- Supported various advocacy tasks for NCD Synergies online toolkit

- Designed community-based research project on mosquito prevalence and vector borne diseases, collected samples in community, and conducted quantitative analyses- Presented poster titled, “Housing Conditions and Presence of Mosquito Vectors of Viral Diseases in Puerto Viejo, Sarapiquí” at Organization for Tropical Studies symposium (in Spanish)

- Spearheaded "Proyecto huerta: mejor salud para mejores futuros"- Obtained grant for and organized construction of a community garden to respond to the nutritional issues of the community’s children- Led nutrition workshops for parents and children; collaborated with community members to write a cookbook of local recipes that utilized vegetables from the community garden - Forged collaborations between the community center, National Institute of Agricultural Technology, and secondary school and university volunteers- Presented work at community meeting and was featured in local newspaper
