Administrated and provided assistance for a wide variety of alumni-based events. Attended the events to ensure the successful organisation of the occasion – interacted with attendees and provided them with the event materials. Used initiative to ensure the event runs smoothly. Supported the production of events materials and used Adobe InDesign to assist with the design of the alumni packs. Collected evaluation sheets and identified areas of improvements.

Worked at a wide variety of University events and interacted with different individuals, from young children to reputable alumni. Frequently attended Higher Education Conventions across the country to represent the University of Manchester. At these events I engaged with students, parents and teachers to promote the University. Confidently delivered student life presentations to sixth form students demonstrating my ability to speak in front of a large audience. Conducted campus tours of the University demonstrating my communication skills.

Project managed a series of alumni-based videos to successfully promote and market Humanities degrees and their career prospects. Researched and sourced alumni effectively to volunteer for the project – primarily used Raisers Edge and LinkedIn to identify keen alumni. Liaised with the School’s Marketing Officers to understand what content they wanted to achieve from the films. Attended all of the filming’s as a sole representative of the alumni team at many highly established organisations throughout the UK such as the BBC. Professional and friendly attitude when dealing with internal and external contacts. Time sensitive project which required excellent time management and organisational skills – proactive in supervising a manageable schedule. Ensuring all members involved in the project remained in line with the objectives of the project – coordinated with staff providing frequent briefs and reports. Confidently presented the success of the project to over 50 members of staff using Prezi.

Waitressed in the Manchester VIP suite. Delivered silver service hospitality to exceed customer expectations. Confidently communicated clearly to customers and served a range of clientèle, from established business CEOs to families.
