The human desire to engage with others is alive and well in me. Helping others connect with the right people, resources, and experiences inspires me to grow right alongside them.I learned this during my university experience as a Student Ambassador for the Development Office. Later I managed, trained, and ultimately recruited for a Fortune 500 company. As a stay-at-home parent, I hosted young, international teachers from a variety of countries for extended stays. Today I am a certified Life Coach doing one-on-one coaching and public speaking on the topic of parenting tweens and teens. Working with St. Louis Agency for Training and Employment (SLATE), re-established me professionally after an intentional parenting interim. There, I was able to use my top tier skills of analyzing and problem solving, predicting needs, and connecting people to great resources, including other people. Most recently, I completed a two year stint as a French language instructor for students from 3 -10 years of age at the area's premier independent school. Here, I connected children with the idea that learning a second language can be an adventure. It was such a fun experience in playful learning
