Implemented a D-optimal statistical design method to study and optimize organic solar cell nanomorphology. Fabricated photovoltaic cells by preparing ITO coated substrates, synthesizing conductive polymer solutions, spin-coating ~200nm thin films, and Al metal deposition. Used transmission electron and atomic force microscopy as well as x-ray diffractometry to interpret material nanostructure and study the cell structure-property relationship.
