I will forever be grateful for the years I had being mentored by the founder of C21, Mr. Al Gindi. He passed away in his 90s just recently, in 2018. He came to the United States from Syria with nothing and built a billion dollar company. He taught me how to see through his eyes not only how to raise the bar in his company and in my own, when I was a new mother from 2001 to 2007, but about what is really important in life. Not surprisingly, it is the simple basics that are most vital to both. I now apply what I learned from him in all that I do.

As a side interest, I have worked as an undercover investigator for one of the greatest investigation firms in the world, owned by the one and only Bo Dietl!

Responsible for Loss Prevention Barneys America when there were nine locations throughout the United States. Responsible for Security in all locations excluding the main NYC store. There were locations in California, Seattle, Texas, NY, NJ, CT and Mass...great times traveling (on PAN AM!! lol I"m old!!) It was still family owned by the Pressman's back then--I loved working there!

Tribeca, Nyc

In charge of all technical security for a 41-story building while it was under construction. This building is now called the "Travelers Building." I will never forget the year I wore a business suit with a hard hat and a walkie talkie, used the outdoor scaffolding elevator, and ate my lunch on the roof most days!

Detected fraud and then interviewed people involved in fraud in 47 stores throughout the Northeast. I loved my job, my boss and team of Fraud Analysts I worked with--I learned so much there! Back in 1988 women had to wear skirts to work and we used microfilm to find documents we needed! Macy*s was owned by Mr. Finkelstein!! Completed Macy*s Business Management Training Program (BMT). Participated in the Thanksgiving Parade Security and Tap-O-Mania too!

First Job out of College (started there as an undercover detective) So fun, I couldn't believe they actually gave me money to do it!
