Buying my first car when I was 14 years old. (1972 SS Chevelle) Rebuilding the Engine and Transmission. Just to find out the Frame was bent. After changing out the frame I was pretty familiar with bumper-to-bumper automotive work by the time I finished the project at 16 years old. Getting offered a summer job at the Corner Gas Station, working nights and weekends, I was hooked on being a mechanic. The Next opportunity was an apprentice in a small Dodge Dealership. Leaving school at 1:30 pm and work 2 pm to 6 pm on weekdays and an 8-hour shift on Saturdays. After graduating from school, I was offered the position to become a Certified Technician at a Large Ford Dealer by the Service Manager I had met getting parts for the corner gas station. From there on I thrived in the Ford Realm spending 90% of my Career either in a Ford or Jaguar/Land Rover Dealership. I went to a factory training center gaining my ASE/Ford certifications and Automotive Masters first, and then Jaguar Gold Master leading to the JLR Masters. Fuel system diagnostician and excelled at drivability diagnoses and repair. Able to follow Electrical diagrams' using both DVOMs and factory-supplied diagnostics tools. Once I cross-trained at Ford and Jaguar Cars I excelled at CAN and SCP network systems and next fiber optic diagnosis and repair. I also have welding, auto body repair, and paint skills to add to my resume that were acquired in my career.
