As an Application Engineer on the 'Route to Pay' team at elementsuite, a HR SaaS provider, my primary focus was developing and optimizing the codebase crucial for payroll processes.The technical landscape of my role involved extensive use of Node.js and PostgreSQL for back-end operations, coupled with JavaScript for front-end interactions. Through meticulous coding and database management, I contributed to enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of the payroll system, ensuring a seamless route to pay for all employees.

As an IT Consultant working through my own company, CTOR, my role encapsulated knowledge management, data-driven projects, and IT consultancy, predominantly within the Apache, JavaScript, and Linux ecosystems. My projects often leveraged technologies such as Node.js, Solr, and Zookeeper to tackle data challenges.Among the data projects I handled were a knowledge management system for a large confectionery company, a laboratory inventory management system for a pet food manufacturer, a plant health monitoring system, and a suite of bespoke web applications for data discovery, management, and operations.
