CurrentI have substantive experience advising clients on labor and employment matters arising out of complex U.S. and multinational corporate transactions, including negotiating and drafting labor and employment provisions of merger agreements and purchase agreements, and conducting due diligence and risk assessment of a target’s labor and employment law compliance. I have experience counseling clients on executive and senior management separations, and negotiating and preparing separation agreements and employment restrictive covenants. I regularly advise clients on legal issues affecting the workplace, including wage and hour matters, anti-discrimination and anti-harassment matters, reductions in force, union matters, and other issues arising under federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.Though my current practice is primarily transactional, I also possess litigation experience. To that end, I have represented employers against claims brought by current and former employees in federal and state court, as well as charges brought before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In the unionized workplace, I have represented employers in arbitration arising out of alleged violations of collective bargaining agreements.
