One of the benefits of being part of the AIA Community is having a designated account coordinator who works directly with our promotional products distributors to provide guidance and solutions, assist with daily financial transactions and support back-office operations. As service delivery manager, I oversee and coach a team of 24 account coordinators to help them foster relationships with and provide top-tier customer service to AIA distributors by learning about them and their businesses and understanding their preferred communication styles to meet their needs and solve problems. I’ve been with AIA for more than seven years and I learn something new every day. I spent four years as an account coordinator, followed by supervisor of account services, and fully understand how to navigate the promotional products industry. When it comes to challenging situations, I take pride in understanding all perspectives. I work to understand the root cause, take a step back to recognize the impact, ask tough questions and then work toward the right solution.
