About Jaime Mcmillan

Jaime McMillan started his Wall Street career in Atlanta Georgia with Bear Stearns Securities in 1991 as a licensed stock broker after earning a BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University. At Bear, he focused on America's leading Blue Chip company stocks suitable for high net worth investors. In 1993, Jaime accepted a position in Phoenix Arizona with an equity trading team at Charles Schwab & Co executing complex options and derivative strategies for active individual investors and institutions.Schwab Advisor services. Having experience in Personal Advice offerings Jaime was recruited to open branches in Portland, San Francisco and San Diego to begin Schwab Client Advice programs in the 1990's. As one of Schwab's top Private Client Advisors, he was recruited as a Regional Manager to lead the U.S. Trust Company Newport Beach. Focused on accounts over $2M the Newport office consistently led the Southern California region.In 2003, Jaime returned to education attending night classes at Trinity Law School in Orange County California earning his Juris Doctorate in 3 years. In 2007, he opened McMillan Adviser Family Offices a nationally recognized independent adviser firm providing investment management, financial planning, estate planning, and customized stock portfolios. The company is headquartered in Durango, Colorado.Jaime and his family enjoy the great outdoors including skiing, camping and nature hiking.
