Hello, I’m Jaime! - I am a first-generation Latino student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Media Studies with a concentration in Digital Studies. I migrated from El Salvador when I was 12 to Richmond, California. I am passionate about supporting first-generation migrants and college students to navigate their way through higher education in order to chase their dreams. I am interested in breaking through the tech industry as a Market Researcher or Marketing Manager. I have previous experience as a Market Research intern at Growth from Knowledge (GFK) where I Analyzed survey responses from quarterly, monthly, and/or yearly data showcasing user perceptions of the brand, familiarity, and purchase intent to measure Microsoft consumer insights and present to the Microsoft insights team. Summer of 2023 I had the privilege of working at Google as an Associate Product Marketing Manager intern, where I worked on a new marketing strategy for the Chrome Browser to expand market share. I successfully completed my internship and was extended a return offer for a full-time position post-graduation.
