As an expert on Relay For Life, provide a range of support and guidance to the Field that includes coaching, developing growth strategies with staff and volunteers, and facilitating logistics across a number of constituents across the country. Collaborate in the creation, development, and execution of the corporate engagement program.

Manage ACS fundraising events and volunteer leaders. Responsibilities include:* Achieve and exceed fundraising goals set by the American Cancer Society* Recruit, train and mentor new volunteers, committee members, and teams * Organize and run team leader and volunteer meetings * Plan event activities, contract with guest speakers and entertainment, and oversee events onsite* Gain and actively grow relationships with key businesses and organizations in the area for sponsorship, volunteers, and resources* Identify, reengage, and grow existing under performing fundraising territories Develop special projects and training for volunteers, attend training events for professional development and growth and serve as liaison to the Veteran’s Hospital’s Cancer Care Coordinator to ensure that the hospital and patients receive current information and resources. Innovate with technology and implement new ideas: Online training webcasts for volunteers, online team challenges, social media fundraising, acted as online lead for the DelMarVa area, training staff and volunteers how to use the online tool for not only fundraising, but for sharing of resources and announcements, set online fundraising goals, coached staff on the opportunities available with Facebook and Twitter, tracked progress and YOY success.
