• Assess and provide direction to the inspection team throughout the process of design, construction, and commissioning, start-up, and turnaround inspections.• Assist in Mechanical engineering to aid design reviews, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, and preparation of job packs for maintenance execution.• Perform Static equipment (piping, pressure vessels, Heat exchanges, Boilers, Tanks, Columns, etc.) inspection activities including pre-shutdown inspections (on-stream) i.e., External inspection and Internal Inspection during shutdowns.• Review design packages and validate materials selection based on current code and standards.• Perform risk-based inspection (RBI) for integrity management of all pressure equipment like pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and pressure relieving devices and the proposed inspection strategy for each of the evaluated equipment based on the outcome of the RBI risk ranking.• Review and approve the reports related to Mechanical Inspection during on stream inspection and Turnaround Inspections.• Provide technical support in root cause failure analysis, Risk Analysis, HAZOP activity.• Performing Fitness for service for Remaining Life Assessment as per API 579 guidelines.• Assisted in metallurgy selection and up-gradation of various columns/piping/vessel/heat exchangers to suit corrosion protection based on operating experiences.• Provide MOC-related technical support to assigned assets and identify timely solutions to ensure asset integrity and reliability sustaining a safe and continuous plant environment.Performing Fitness For service for Remaining Life Assessment as per API 579 guidelines.• Preparation, review & monitoring of various welding related documents like shop weld plan, weld map, welding instructions, procedures, weld repair procedure etc.• Performing On-stream/off stream visual and NDE of piping (Injection/mixing point), vessels, Heat exchangers, tanks etc., based on API 510/570/571/653.
