Assess and provide direction to the inspection team throughout the process of design, construction, and commissioning, start-up, and turnaround inspections.Guiding team for necessary quality standards throughout the project implementation as per relevant codes, standards, and specifications.Enforce the risk-based inspection system and oversee the execution and adherence to RBI-related tasks.Assist in Mechanical engineering to aid design reviews, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, and preparation of job packs for maintenance execution.Perform Static equipment (piping, pressure vessels, Heat exchanges, Boilers, Tanks, Columns, etc.) inspection activities including pre-shutdown inspections (on-stream) i.e., External inspection and Internal Inspection during shutdowns.Provide repair of static equipment and piping following ASME PCC-2. Any unacceptable damage/degradation identified on pressure equipment & do follow up by repair action to restore their mechanical integrity.Ensuring project-specific procedures and documents meet contractual requirements, while also monitoring their application for contract compliancePerform risk-based inspection (RBI) for integrity management of all pressure equipment like pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and pressure relieving devices and the proposed inspection strategy for each of the evaluated equipment based on the outcome of the RBI risk ranking.Review and approve the reports related to Mechanical Inspection during on stream inspection and Turnaround InspectionsProvide technical support in root cause failure analysis, Risk Analysis, HAZOP activity.Perform Root cause analysis/investigation on corrosion problems and metal failures and provide effective technical advice/support, along with metallurgical analysis support.Performing Fitness for service for Remaining Life Assessment as per API 579 guidelines.Assisted in metallurgy selection and up-gradation of various columns/piping/vessel/heat exchangers to suit corrosion protection based on operating experiences.Provide management of change-related technical support to assigned assets and identify timely solutions to ensure asset integrity and reliability sustaining a safe and continuous plant environment.Review all audit reports to verify that the quality management systems are implemented and are compliant with the Contract.
