Associated with One HSBC Project and with TEM team (BOS). Within this team, our major tasks were : 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬: Batches are bread and butter for this project. In this Project, we have more than 5 test regions and in each region, we run batches. Every batch cycle was of 8 hrs. Batches were executed with CA-7 and TWS. Batch run includes > Triggering batch with proper date by giving date bump/date roll, Batch Monitoring.> Identifying the nature of the abends and helping application teams to resolve the abends.> Meeting SLA’s for each batch.𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝: It includes building test regions for QA and Dev environments.𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: It involves Easytrieves and COBOL program coding to select accounts from production for account copy Process which is used to copy data from production to the test regions. These accounts were selected based on certain criteria for testing scenario.𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: This process is used to board/generate accounts which are rare/doesn’t exist in production.𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: It mainly deals with copying the accounts from Production to different test regions. This is a process which is extensively used in the CRS environment for copying the account from one region to another region and this was one of the main cost reduction processes that had been initiated.𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬: It is a process in which we delete/define all the test region’s files (including both Control and Master files). Then we copies 100% data for Control files from Production and initializes Master files. Master files were then loaded with selective records. These selective records were also copied from Production but based on the testing scenario. This process in turns removes the redundant data from test region.𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬: It includes working on all the data copy related defects raised by respective application team.
