All IT Category Communication (mobile) and Laptop report to CM and respective Store Managers about the performance of the Department and movement of the merchandise.Key Responsibilities:- Core Competencies- Core Initiatives- Training & Development- Store Management- Recruitment and Selection- Visual Merchandise- Stock Management- Quality Management- Excellent Communication- Inventory Control- Maintaining hygiene of the department- Department is kept neat & tidy.- Floor is free from unattended cartons.- Also make sure that there is proper maintenance of the matches. Electrical fittings, racks etc. in the section.- Schedule Preparation- Assists the Department Manager in ensuring proper coverage maintenance in the section by making appropriate schedules of timing, weekly offs and compensatory offs.- Stock Replenishments- Communicating the DM about fast moving, slow moving and non-moving items in their section- Checking on soiled & damaged merchandise and intimidating the same to the DM for appropriate action by them.- Checking with warehouse as to what stocks have come in and getting it in the section with the help of DM.- Sales- Selling the merchandise in their section to the customer gauging their requirements, interests and tastes.- Merchandising- Merchandise display and arrangement quality wise, brand wise etc. as per the instructions of the DM.- Customer Service- Guiding the customer of the products in the other sections/ departments in the store.- Solving customers’ problems and highlighting the same to the DM/ ASM if they are unable to resolve the issue completely.- Focus- Focus on Growth & D growth articles.- Track Margin & Negative inventory on daily basis.
