After working for almost 2 years on the sunrise newscasts. I was offered the opportunity to switch to nightside and produce the 10 & 11 pm. In the 10p I stack an hour newscast, while in the 11p I stack a 30 minute show. Later, in April of 2023 I was given the opportunity to produce the 6 & 7 pm newscast. Where in the 6p I stack an hour show and in the 7p a 30 minute newscast. During these two newscast I was able to make changes by adding headlines to the top of the newscasts. As the station evolved to a new set, I helped bring new camera shots. Utilized every tool possible to make stories flow smoother during each block.

As a sunrise producer at Newschannel 21, I was responsible of stacking a two hour newscast; one being the 5 am & the other the 6 am newscast. I check social media and the station stories email for new possible stories. I’m responsible of calling dispatch to confirm incidents, as well as writing the story and editing video.
