I have been an instructor for Police Technical for nearly 7 years. In this capacity, I have taught over 1,000 students in Basic Cell Phone Investigations, Social Media Investigations and Call Detail Record Analysis and Mapping.

I have been assigned to the Detective Bureau for over 12 years. In this capacity I have investigated over 1,000 cases to include but not limited too; Homicide, Suicide, Assaults, Sexual Assaults, Arson, Burglary, Home Invasion, Armed Robbery, Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, Stalking and Embezzlement. I oversee the investigation of a case from inception through trial. I have worked jointly with members from International, Federal, State and Local agencies on investigations. I have testified in both Federal, State Circuit and District courts. I have also testified in an International Court in Kilkenny Ireland on a Terrorism related investigation. I was previously assigned to the Michigan Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the FBI South East Michigan Trafficking and Exploitation Crimes Task Force, obtaining a Top Secret Security Clearance. In these positions, I routinely conducted examinations on cell phones to extract digital evidence. I also have investigated and participated on numerous search warrants for Child Pornography, Child Exploitation, Human Trafficking and Soliciting Minors for Immoral Purposes. I have several hundred hours of specialized training to include but not limited too; Fire/Arson Cause and Origin, Mobile Device Data Recovery, Homicide and Death Investigations, Robbery and Burglary Investigations, Interviewing and Interrogation, Sexual Assault Investigations, Social Media Investigations and Cell Phone Record Analysis.

During my time with the City of Clawson, I was assigned to the Patrol Division where I responded to incidents and wrote reports, made arrests for violations of Michigan Law, issued citations for violations of the Motor Vehicle Code and provided any other service to the citizens as needed.
