I am the Sergeant over the Technical Investigations Unit within the Investigative Division. I am responsible for the operations of the unit including; case assignments for examiners, tracking examiner certifications and CEU, maintain a budget of nearly $70,000 annually for forensic equipment, peer reviewing forensic reports, statistical analysis of monthly and annual exams, performing forensic examinations and providing expert testimony in court.I obtained my Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE) from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists.I hold CCO, CCPA and CCME certifications from Cellebrite, in mobile device forensics. I also have a certification from Berla in vehicle forensics. I received an award from the United States Secret Service in FY 21 and in FY 22 as one of the "Top Forensic Examiners". With rankings of 44th and 36th out of more than 2,400 examiners nation wide. I have partnered with a local university to create a case management database for the unit that will increase efficiency within the unit. I also partnered with the university to develop an investigative database that merges investigations with digital evidence in an intelligence lead policing model that creates case associations to solve more cases.
