In my role as a management consultant I delivered projects across Europe throughout all stages of the procurement lifecycle, with a focus on indirect categories, delivering service improvements and savings to clients.

Management consultant within the procurement competency, delivering a range of client facing projects while taking an active role in business and practice development. Project experience was varied in terms of sector and nature of work delivered.Key Achievements- Rapid identification of post merger procurement synergies for a large national pub chain- Successful tender using OJEU Negotiated Procedure for a large NHS back-office, first generation outsource- Redesign of the global procurement structure and governance for a global steel manufacturer- Creation of new function as part of a proposed JV to undertake all procurement activity for a group of public sector organisations

After initially rotating across competency areas, I settled in the Procurement competency. In this time I gained experience in all key sectors with a varied nature of work.Key Acheivements- Global cost reduction project with a global tobacco manufacturer, from identification of opportunities through to delivery of savings- Delivered PMO on a range of complex, multi functional projects including a major global bank- Design and implementation of Lean processes to reduce required FTE, supported by continuous process improvement- Account development of a FTSE 100 listed company helping to drive sales, coordinate senior stakeholders, provide regular account MI and and develop propostions

I joined Due North in June 2007 and during this time developed the role of Head of Professional services, responsible for the management of three direct reports and for the delivery of an annual revenue target.Key Achievements- Grew the team from being only myself to a team of three which I led- Delivered revenue increases of at least 30% for three years- Managed the implementation of the eSourcing software with over 100 public sector organisations- Sold software and services as well as providing pre-sales support and software demonstrations- Design and delivery of training sessions to users, supported by the creation of all support documentation
