Despite living with epidermolysis bullosa, a condition that makes my skin fragile and prone to blistering, I've never let it hinder my pursuit of passion. In fact, I believe it's given me a unique outlook on life, fostering the determination and resilience crucial for success.My journey began with a childhood fascination with design, leading me to experiment with creating posters and logos for school events. This passion evolved into a teenage endeavor, where I utilized my design skills to brand and market my non-profit student organization—a fitness club at UCSD.Driven by my love for physical activity and wellness, I embarked on running this club, finding that my creativity and design background were invaluable assets in crafting effective marketing strategies and establishing a strong brand identity.As I pursued my studies in business economics at UCSD, I discovered the transformative potential of merging my design expertise with computer science. Delving into programming classes, I uncovered the power of software development in enhancing business operations. Through coding, I realized the freedom that each new project brough and how I could leverage my design skills to create user-friendly interfaces and visually captivating websites and applications.Fueled by my passion for personal fitness, wellness, design, and non-profit work, I've continually sought opportunities to integrate these interests.
