Throughout my apprenticeship, I have actively engaged In roles across the business, this has included thus far: Panel building/wiring and testing, distrubution (warehouse) and management office based roles such as procurement buyer, assistant project management role and a drive modification engineering role. I have learnt all the scopes of business, this includes: - Conducting thorough site surveys to assess requirements and gather data - Wired control panels for lifts according to electrical diagrams, ensuring correct wire types and components; built and assembled metal plates with trunking, DIN rail, and terminals, followed by thorough safety and functionality testing, including on-site fault finding.- Completed EOR 202N Health and safety on lifts course - Overseeing purchasing for metal work and various components - Experienced in cultivating and managing positive customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and customer retention - Implementing effective strategies to ensure timely delivery of products - Proficient in processing and managing both incoming and outgoing purchase orders to ensure smooth operation - Collaborating with colleagues to facilitate and ensure timely execution of projects- Collaborated with customers to provide timely drive modifications, including quoting, updating electrical wiring drawings, and tracking job progress via spreadsheets to ensure on-schedule project completion and high customer satisfaction.

In the warehouse, I learnt excellent time management and teamwork, working steadily to meet deadlines and provide customers with excellent support.

During the COVID-19 period, I opted to use my free time helping and supporting young adults with serious disabilities, this included epilepsy, severe learning disabilities and cerebral palsy. I found it was fulfilling to support those in need in such a critical time. Despite facing challenges, the experience of helping others served as a catalyst for personal growth, strengthening my resilience and ability to adapt to adverse situations. As a team leader during the COVID-19 period, I was responsible for the following: - Delegating tasks for team members, optimising work flow and productivity - Fulfilled the role of primary family contact, managing schedules and communication. - Ensuring a smooth running day with over 25 residents and 40 staff - Oversaw financial management for the residents, ensuring efficient allocation of funds and adhering to budget constraints. - Managed safety checks, including legionella and medication inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a safe working environment. - Conducted team meetings, disciplinary meetings and developed action plans to address issues and enhance team performance.
