Jake is a Graphic Designer, specialising in brand conceptualisation and development; data visualisation and infographics; layout design (print and digital); and the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Jake has experience using the latest design software, specifically Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma.Jake currently works for Portal Studio as a Senior Digital Graphic Designer where he produces a wide variety of digital design work for clients within the gaming industry. As a creative partner, Portal provides crucial design, animation and video production services.Prior to Portal, Jake was part of Sky Creative as a Midweight Graphic Designer, working on print and digital layouts for marketing campaigns across Sky and its many sub-brands, products and channels. Jake has worked on the TTL delivery for campaigns such as: Sky Sports Big Weekend 2024, The Ashes Cricket 2023, Golf Start of Season 2023, WSL Start of Season 2022, F1 Start of Season 2022 and Sky Cinema Christmas 2021 amongst many others. Jake joined Sky as a Junior Designer and was promoted after just 11 months with the company.Prior to working at Sky, Jake spent 5 years with International Development Consultancy, Integrity, as a Marketing and Communications Officer and in-house Graphic Designer. Here, Jake supported key marketing campaigns; led on the design and publication of brochures and materials; managed and updated the Integrity website; and worked across the company's large portfolio of projects providing graphic design services. Specifically whilst on projects, Jake provided data visualisation, branding and document and publication design. Through Integrity, Jake spent 12 months completing an apprenticeship to gain a qualification in Creative and Digital Media, focusing on Web and Interactive Media design. He was later promoted to the role of Business Officer, Marketing and Communications.Prior to joining Integrity, Jake had completed a Foundation Year in Art and Design, following on from A levels and AS Levels, where he had studied Product Design, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
