My main responsibilities are the development and architecture of all Salesforce solutions, as well as the maintenance of the org. Here are a few of the most notable and high impact projects I've completed at HotSchedules:Full org migration - We were overpaying for "Performance Edition" licenses that we didn't need. Downgrading licenses required an org migration to a new "Enterprise Edition" org. We decided to lead this effort internally and do the heavy lifting myself rather than hiring consultants. I successfully migrated all configuration and data to the new org and ended up saving over $100K a year in license costs. This was my first project at HotSchedules and set the bar pretty high!Salesforce CPQ (Formerly "SteelBrick") self implementation -Due to the complexities in our pricing strategy and numerous products, we decided to purchase Salesforce CPQ. While Salesforce CPQ recommends hiring partners to assist, we were confident that we had the necessary skills on the team to self implement. I attended the Advanced Administrator (211) CPQ training and was able to design and implement our CPQ solution.Dreamforce 2017 presentation on CPQ -Presented at Dreamforce 2017 with my team on implementing Salesforce CPQ. (My piece begins at about 12 minutes in)Custom Docusign tools & integration -While I wish we could say that we implemented CPQ entirely without code, we did need to add some customization to the mix. One of these elements was a custom interface and process for generating and sending docusign documents. The Kinnser Salesforce org is highly customized in addition to using the standard Sales and Service cloud functionality. There are around 200 users which I administer and every department in the organization uses Salesforce. I split my time between managing projects and requirements across the business, maintaining existing configuration, and building out new functionality using both code and config.Responsibilities & Projects:• Creation and Maintenance of VF Pages, Triggers, Scheduled Batch Jobs, Custom Object Architecture, Lead Routing, Custom Territory Management• Provide Org & Data Maintenance - I use a combination of DemandTools, custom Apex, configuration, and manual processes to maintain data cleanliness, record ownership, and mass updates.• Implemented Service Cloud– Migration of support team from existing case management system entirely to Salesforce. Approximately 40 support agents.• Integrated Cases with SendGrid API– Developed automated response system using the Sendgrid API.• Implemented Telephony Integration (InsideSales.com) – The Inside Sales and Business Development teams use this system to automate calling as well as track all call activity.
