I’m currently lead the EBC Court Researchers. I have 13 direct reports that work across the different states, in the U.S. I was a key stakeholder that helped get global background check services up and running. For this project, it was required that I attend daily standup meetings to get insight as to what was priority for the week, take note of key deadlines, and speak to project impacting road blocks. I was responsible for being the bridge between our APM, QA, and Dev teams and our Global background check partners. This was very important because I had to setup the connection between our platform and their platform. Without this, we would not be able to process global background checks. Lastly, I was responsible for performing regression testing on the global products to identify red flags, and present that information in our daily standup meetings and it was on me to give the green light to move forward with the new product once testing was completed.Previously lead the Consumer Disputes team where I coached my team in creating what would become the foundation and backbone of Consumer Disputes in the background checks department by developing processes, establishing KPIs and SLAs that lead to a better client experience, and developing training for the position that are still currently being used today. In this position you have to be highly proficient in the Microsoft Suite, JIRA, Background Checks platform, and Confluence.

I was a Team Lead over a team of 6-9 garnishment specialists that specialized in setting up garnishment orders, sending physical garnishment checks to garnishing agencies to ensure payments are accurate and paid on time, and validating garnishment orders to ensure the accuracy of the setup. In this position I helped to improve our AP Checks process by cutting out unnecessary steps to streamline the process between our department and accounting. I lead a team that helped build the foundation of our garnishment training process, so that it could be improved upon as the department grew. The most rewarding part of the position was mentoring my specialists on the individual level and helping them to become leaders.
