As a Lead Designer, I have the responsibility of managing a team of 5 graphic designers who specialize in the creative exploration of branded packaging and marketing material concepts and assets for the various auto care brands owned by Energizer Holdings. This position helps organize the team to maintain focused perspectives on new product development initiatives as well as provide visual support materials necessary for the marketing team.

Developed and managed the design and production process of Save-A-Lot branded private label packaging. From brainstorming concepts to approving final printed samples, I oversaw and designed each designated item from beginning to end, with special considerations taken to maintain visual aesthetics within the limitations of the particular printing process.

Worked alongside the owner of the small business both in the office and in the field. Developed and customized the office stationary and paperwork to improve efficiency and consistency within the company branding. Actively learned the electrical trade in both residential and light commercial applications. Also gained additional experience with other trades through various general contracting projects.

Illustrated various plants, animals, people, and landscapes as well as tables, charts, and graphs for math and science related purposes, all in a manner consistent with the established graphic styles for each specific project. Most illustrations were for textbooks, standardized testing manuals, and medical publications which required the utilization of Illustrator vector art as well as Photoshop painting techniques.
