Rainbow Hospice Care is a highly respected independent non-profit hospice organization in the state of Wisconsin. My time at The Pickle is one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. It certainly has it's own reputation as a college bar in the heart of downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin, but that provided me with a wide-range of different experiences. • Make and serve drinks per customer request.• Handle cash and credit card transactions.• Play music and announce birthdays as a weekend DJ and set the atmosphere for bar patrons.

I started working at TV-10 during my second semester of college and proceeded to continue with eight semesters at the best student organization UW-Eau Claire had to offer. During my time I held various positions from news reporter to sports talk show host, working my way up to Anchor and Producer of Homefield Advantage- a weekly Blugold sports recap show. However, helping to bring live sports back to TV-10's programming is what I am most proud of from my time at the student television station. Not only did it shed a huge light on our organization, doubling our staff in one year, but it gave me experience doing play-by-play for college Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Men's Football and Women's Softball. Working at TV-10 has given me a wide-range of experience in my field as well as friends and memories that will last forever.

As an intern with the Athletic Department at UW-Eau Claire I created content for www.blugolds.com. By writing game recaps for numerous sports including Men's Football and Basketball while maintaining a voice of the organization, my writing approach was a combination of journalism and public relations.

The Eau Claire Express is a collegiate summer baseball team in the prestigious 18-team Northwoods League. They play a 72 game schedule during the months of June, July and early August and have only a few off days.My duties as the Media Relations Intern included, but weren't limited to: writing game recaps after every home and away game, writing feature stories, I was the official scorer for all Express home games, sent press releases and handled local media, as well as I designed the Virtual Game Day Program and printed a roster handout with updated stats for each home game at Carson Park. The internship was a mixture of journalism and public relations with a dash of graphic design. It was a long summer with no pay, but an invaluable experience I am fortunate to have had.

The Spectator is a weekly publication of UW-Eau Claire campus news and happenings. As a staff writer I was required to write at least one story per week which would run in our paper issue or online. This gave me valuable writing experience while working on a deadline.

My high school job, the Lake Ripley Country Club was a private small town golf course where I filled many duties during my time. Primarily serving tables, I learned many customer service and personal skills. It was a great atmosphere with friendly co-workers and I still treasure the time I spent working there.
