Jake Dickerson has significant experience representing financial institutions, securities investors, mortgage servicers, hospitals, medical device companies, funeral homes, and logistics companies from the beginning of litigation to its conclusion. As a litigator, he works on cases involving business litigation, securities arbitration, medical malpractice, real property disputes, premises liability, class action claims, and commercial transactions. Jake was selected as a Rising Star in the 2011 through 2016 lists of Mid-South Super Lawyers, and he is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is the former President of the Memphis Bar Association - Young Lawyers Division and remains active in the Memphis Bar Association by serving as the Program Director for the Veterans' Pro Bono Legal Clinic at the Memphis VA. Before entering private practice, Jake was a Federal Law Clerk for Chief Judge Jon Phipps McCalla of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. After 12 years of private practice, he has returned to the Memphis Federal Court as a Law Clerk for Magistrate Judge Annie T. Christoff. Jake graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served as Law School Student Body President and as Office Manager of the Mississippi Law Journal.
