Raising funds for a local primary school in Govanhill Glasgow, who have extra educational challenges as they support a large Roma population from migrants who have come to Glasgow.My key duties in this role were:- Using my in-depth insight on how social media technologies are used in a fundraising environment. - Creating a photo campaign with local businesses in the area to bring attention and donations to the project.- Controlling and organising projects for social media channels.This total raised for this fundraiser was £649 and this funding went towards the school so that it would enrich the students education.

University of Strathclyde’s Christmas toy appeal aims to provide presents during the Christmas season for some of the most disadvantaged children in Glasgow.My key duties within this role were:- Liaising with the social media team and communicating with local businesses.- Running and marketing a Christmas hamper to raise funding.- Time management to ensure project deadlines were met.This fundraising appeal raised a total of £7977, which went towards acquiring presents for local schools and charities that support disadvantaged children in Glasgow.
