Rosegold is a tool used to prepare phrases for digestion by natural language processing models. The core functionality surrounds assigning meaning to various portions (slots) of phrases in a consistent manner so that the model can accurately determine a user’s intent given any phrase. Rosegold was my first foray into developing and hosting a full-stack.

At Society6, I lead the charge on integrating their existing eCommerce product pages, written in PHP (Laravel), with an inline React component that would dynamically fetch the proper SKU and update the page based on user selections. Videolog was the YouTube of Brazil during its prime. Along with learning Portuguese in a work environment and living in a foreign country for the first time in my life, I was able to contribute production code using CSS, HTML, JS, and PHP to the Videolog platform and get a feel for what it’s like to run a tech company.
