In 2021, I left my role as a tech exec and moved to the Peruvian Amazon to build a retreat centre.8 years earlier, during an Ayahuasca retreat, I had a vision to create a place where people could reconnect with themselves, nature, and sacred plants. 10 years and 3 startups later, I was living a workaholic lifestyle. I was burnt out and unfulfilled. So, I packed up my life and immersed myself in the jungle to follow that vision.3 things define my path: people, plants, and creativity. I find purpose where they intersect, and see myself as a bridge between them.My journey with cannabis hasn’t always been balanced. I found myself in a pattern of excessive use and dependency. Through lots of trial and error, I've come to know the importance of a conscious relationship with the plant -- one rooted in intentionality, respect, and balance.I’ve studied astrology, herbalism, Ayurveda, alchemy, and shamanism, which have shaped my approach to life. These traditions inform how I now work with cannabis, which, when used intentionally, can be as powerful for transformation as Ayahuasca.
