My name is Jake McCulloch, and I'm in my final year of a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at the University of Adelaide majoring in Artificial Intelligence. I am proficient in coding languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, SQL, and JavaScript, Skilled in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Database Management, and User Experience Design.Whilst partaking in my degree study, I most enjoyed dissecting complex problems into smaller components and developing code to achieve a solution.Looking ahead, I wish to pursue a career that allows me to utilise my problem-solving prowess and communication skills to understand root causes for existing and future challenges to innovate reliable solutions for today’s industrial landscape.My work background includes valuable work experience at Drakes Supermarkets. I have excelled in product storage and subsequent placement instore advocating for increased saleability. Further, I developed immense skills in generating solutions to various store related issues, be it with company representatives, inventory or customer inquiries. Additionally, I have held various Football Coaching positions, Senior and Assistant, resulting in strongly developed abilities in communication and guiding peers to achieve a common goal and individual development.Outside of academia, I enjoy travel, having spent a month travelling and experiencing local Vietnam.
