I am a fourth-year UNC-Chapel Hill student double majoring in public policy and economics with a minor in American studies. I love to learn about the real-world implications of policy and seek to consistently understand the process of governing at the local, state, and federal levels. I also enjoy examining the intersection of the policy and sports worlds and the far-reaching effects these interactions have. Outside of class, I am the President of UNC’s Lutheran Campus Ministry; currently, I'm guiding nine members of our leadership team as we plan events and initiatives throughout the year. Additionally, I am an intern in UNC’s Athletic Communications office, where I find particular joy in writing postgame notes for UNC football and basketball games. I also volunteer as an advocate at the Community Empowerment Fund of Chapel Hill, and serve on the executive team for the Morehead-Cain Foundation's "Food for Thought" series, which brings a variety of speakers to Chapel Hill in order to foster dialogue and discourse. When not involved in these activities, I love to play golf and try new restaurants. Additionally, I’m a huge fan of trivia nights at various locales in the Chapel Hill area and consider myself a “news junkie.”
