Second summer returning to the same internship role. Embraced the expectation to be a leader among other interns who were new. Continued to call advisors everyday; scheduling meetings with wholesalers, inviting clients to company held events, and trying to sell advisors on the Transamerica wealth and health initiative. During the summer I studied and passed the Securities Industry Exam (prerequisite for Series 6 & 7). Presented another successful Sales Presentation to a large group of my peers, wholesalers, and management. When evaluated at the end of my two internships, I was thought of very highly by my managers and other employees I worked with. Made a lot of great connections with the people on the sales desk, and continue to think very highly of the people at Transamerica.

Worked on the sales desk with many different product lines for Transamera financial services. Communicated with advisors daily on the phone, helped organize our sales database with updated and accurate information. Attended team meetings, was evaluated by managers, learned the ins and outs of the industry from first hand. Delivered a successful sales presentation to peers, wholesalers, and managers. Learned all about the industry, while keeping up with current events.
