As the Sustainability Manager at Novus International, I lead the strategic development and implementation of global sustainability projects to improve the Company's ability to meet (and exceed) stakeholder expectations related to the sustainable production of nutritional animal feed ingredients. Specific responsibilities include:- Manage Novus global sustainability strategy, implementation and stakeholder communication efforts- Leverage global resources to design stakeholder engagement platforms for informing strategic direction- Build business case and executive confidence around innovative, complex, multi-year sustainability projects to positively influence company reputation- Charter large-scale, specialized sustainability projects such as Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental & Social Health Impact Assessments (ESHIAs) to measure and mitigate the social and environmental impact of a given product- Publish the Company's annual Sustainability Report, documenting progress towards stated sustainable goals informed by stakeholder assessments, using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) "G-4" standards- Institutionalize sustainability in efforts related to business decision making at the CompanyWhile in this role, I also received the added responsibility of managing a team of Public Relations and Event Marketing specialists. This leverages my experience in agency and in-house marketing communications to manage the following:- Planning and execution of large-scale, multi-stakeholder external marketing events and PR campaigns- Planning and execution of multi-faceted, global media campaigns- Optimize budgets and improve marketing effectiveness through KPI development and measurement- Lead corporate Crisis Communications Team and related activities in real world scenarios

Novus makes nutritional feed additives for the protein production industry. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, I oversee communications planning and tactical execution for Novus products in the Poultry market, as well as communications activities to support the Novus corporate sustainability platform. I work with our internal design team and external agency partners to deliver marketing campaigns which are used to communicate with customers and prospects around the world. I answer to colleagues in Global Marketing (headquarters) as well as multiple local Marketing teams around the world, and am involved in cross-functional relationships with areas such as Research and Development, Legal & Regulatory and Product Management.

As an Account Executive at 4ORCE Digital (now Manifest Digital), I became the sole point person for every piece of work which bared my client's names. Understanding client expectations and attention to detail became my personal mantra for success. Working on behalf of Scottrade, I led teams of User Experience (UX) researchers and designers in developing digital solutions for our largest client's ever-changing digital landscape. Utilizing our on-site UX testing lab, we facilitated web-based examinations of customer's usage of existing and prototype web applications. In addition, we also provided support in developing print and collateral pieces for their national branch network as well as large manuscripts, such as their annual report. For O'Charley's restaurants, our social media experts created buzz around national sweepstakes, events and new menu items. A national digital media buy was organized by our agency, for which creative targeting and timing played a huge part. These two clients accounted for the largest source of revenue for the agency. Additional clients supported during my time at 4ORCE included Nestle-Purina (UX testing), Hanes Clothing (Social/Viral campaign concepting), Mercy Healthcare (SEO/SEM, website design, UX testing), Amerinet (Site mapping, UX design, website design).

Following a successful internship, I was hired on as a full time AAE for the Monsanto crop account. I supported the Account Supervisors in developing integrated marketing communications plans for ASGROW soybeans, DEKALB corn and Roundup agricultural herbicides. I then worked with creative, media, digital and PR teams to develop and implement multi-million dollar campaigns for each calendar year (print, television, radio, digital, PR, tradeshows, etc.). Loyalty programs and sweepstakes became specialized areas which I focused much of my attention on.

Supported the Account Supervisor and Account Coordinator for O&B's Monsanto Dairy client. Following departures of both senior account team members, I led our client's marketing, event and PR efforts at the 2008 World Dairy Expo in Madison, WI.
