Taking names, making drinks! Then calling out the name and handing the customer the drink. It's a full circle kind of position. One minute I'm helping a customer decide what kind of drink will make them the most satisfied, the next I'm blending fruits and their juices to a perfect consistency, all the while eliminating items on the prep list. Catering was new to me, and gave me a much more desired schedule than other jobs I have had in the past. I have worked large parties, weddings, and small meetings as well. On occasion I drove large box trucks to and from events. I was primarily part of a team that preps food items for a few days before an event, and then for the event I am out on the floor serving customers, answering questions, and solving problems.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

I had an amazing time working part time with this production company making commercials, and other video spots. I was the head of the art department, costuming and casting. I was involved with the production from beginning to end. I would make props and adjust costumes, dress sets, and make adjustments during shoots. It had to pay attention to the details, and was in constant communication via email, phone, or walkie-talkie with my producers, and clients.

I had my hands full being a part of the management team at this restaurant which was awarded a Michelin Star. I worked long hours, prepping food, and cooking for dinner service. I would also help with the ordering and scheduling. I would be the first chef a newly hired cook would work next to, and I would show them the level at which the food needed to be.
